From the northeast coast to the Highlands
I was born and raised in Aberdeen, and Scotland continues to provide me with an endless range of subjects. I am drawn to the way familiar places can change completely with the weather, the season and a sudden shaft of light.
My Scottish paintings combine real locations with atmosphere and memory—from Dunnottar’s dramatic clifftop to the still waters of Loch Ness and the warmth of a cottage at the end of the day.
