Venice at Night
This painting captures Venice under the night sky, suffused with a warm reddish tint. The city's canals reflect the dim lights of the ancient buildings, while gondolas quietly navigate the waterways. Venice of Canaletto
Venice is one of my favourite cities to paint, and I've painted many different settings of it. I've always wanted to paint this particular painting by Canaletto. The boats seen in the sea have been rearranged, and I've painted clouds that are different from those used by Canaletto. This was done only to prevent a duplicate of the original. I did my best to make the colours in this painting more reminiscent of how Canaletto's original work could have seemed before fading over the decades. The canvas is 20 by 30 inches in size.

Venice fireworks. Based on a painting by Canaletto, I created this depiction of Venice at night. Although the scene in Canaletto's painting was depicted during the day, I wanted to create a captivating scene at night with fireworks and Chinese lanterns. The painting was made with oils on canvas. The size of this painting is 24 by 18 inches.
