In this 20 x 20 inch oil painting, I wanted to revisit an often overlooked moment from A Christmas Carol—when Ebenezer Scrooge is taken back to his schooldays by the Ghost of Christmas Past.

I painted this 20 x 16 inch winter scene to capture that quiet feeling you get just as the sun is going down on a cold day. The snow softens everything, and the warm light coming from the cottages makes the whole place feel welcoming.  I painted this 24 x 18 inch scene as a kind of peaceful place you can escape into. I liked the idea of soft rolling hills leading your eye through the painting, with little cottages dotted around and the river winding its way down to the sea.  I painted this 20 x 20 inch oil piece to capture that quiet, reflective feeling of walking alone through a city in the rain. The figure moves past the glow of the Paradise Café, where life carries on inside—people talking, working, sharing moments—while outside feels slower and more introspective.  This is a Highland cow painting I had been working on in 2020 prior to my long break due to an operation. I finally finished it in 2021. This was hand-painted using oils on stretched canvas featuring an old map of Scotland and a Highland cow. The silhouette outline of Scotland is visible also.  |
